In the very beginning of commercial concrete producing history in China, we used the by-products of a gravel producing process as sand. Some part of China used hill sand as fine aggregate cause there are little or no river sand there. With the development of economy and technology, the number of construction projects is getting bigger and bigger, we need more and more sand. But because of the little sand source in our city, almost all the sand relies on other cities. Finding a new material which can replace river sand is a significant way to meet the need for sand. At the same time, years of river sand over-exploitation put a huge pressure on the environment and as a result, producing and using manufactured sand is a developing trend all over the world.

Now the manufactured sand producing process is using the ore which is used for gravel producing as raw material, after getting multistage crushed, screened and washed, the sand which can be used in concrete is produced. In this way, we can replace the natural sand with that in concrete producing.
